Vote Yes on Prop 8

Proposition 8 states only Marriage between a man and women is valid in the state of California. We have become activist in our family. Our prophet has told us to do all we can to help this proposition pass. We spent several hours last weekend waving signs on the corner of Nees and Blackstone. We had lots of honking of support and some choice words and fingers. When the prophet speaks the debate is over. We will do all we can to help this pass. Everyone please get out and vote. Help protect the sanctity of the family and marriage.
Cute Kylie with her sign. She had great spunk and spirit, shouting, "Yes on Eight"

Zombie Prom

Heather was in the "High School musical" this year. The play was called "Zombie Prom". The play was set in the early sixties. There was lots of fun music, dancing and a lot of silliness. This is Heather and two of her LDS friends that were in the play, Janet and Maddie.
At the end of the play everyone turns into a Zombie. Here are the cute zombies at the Prom.
Some of the cast members getting ready for the prom scene at the end of the play. Heather had such a fun time practicing and being involved with the school play. We loved watching her cute happy face up on stage. I know I'm her mom, but I thought she was pretty cute.

St. George Marathon 2008

Lauren, Kylie, and I traveled to St. George Utah to cheer Reed on as he ran his fifth marathon. The girls and I participated in the two mile Mayors walk. I wasn't feeling very well and when the alarm went of for us to get up, I asked the girls if they really wanted to do it. It was raining and cold. Kylie said, "ya mom lets go" . This is us after our walk/run. the course is the final two miles of the marathon. It was fun for us to know where Reed would be running.
Reed and my brother in Law Jim Brendle. Reed finished with a time of 3 hours and 28 min. Jim finished in 3 hours and 6 min. Both are amazing times. Especially since it was windy and raining. Way to go boys!
Reed finishing his 26th mile. We love you and are so proud of you.
