Several years ago the youth in our ward did a super activity. We traveled to the Sacramento Area to go down the American River. Eric West and I were the ward Young women's and Young mens presidents. We decided that we had to bring our families back, because it was so fun. Well here we are two years later. The Wests, Bohns, and our family made a one day trip to the Sacramento area, to ride the river.. I've never really thought of myself as an outdoors girl. But, if you read my recent blog posts it's all about being outdoors.
I was in heaven on this trip. We had so much fun with our friends and I loved being on the river. It was peaceful at times and super thrilling at other times. I felt so grateful for Heavenly Fathers creations. I guess that is how I feel about all the outdoors adventures. I can hardly wait to do it again next summer.

Oh, I grew up doing that trip most every year. I have such fun memories of it and it's one of my favorite things ever. River Rafting ... I absolutely love it! Looks like you all had so much fun! Next time we want to join you guys! :)
So fun! i loved our time with the Winegar's at Yosemite. We went to the Oregon coast this year and loved all the trees. What a beautiful world!
